safety helmet

Hello everyone! today my class learned about helmets and how to use a helmet. I have actually learned more about helmets then i would of known. Im going to share some of my advice i learned about helmets and safety reason. 

Wearing a helmet is for safety reason and protects your head from getting hurt. I'm going to tell you some safety things to do before riding your bike,scooter,skateboard and more.

1. Make sure its the right fit for you.

2. Titan it or loosen it. 

3. Make sure you can fit two fingers under your chin.

4. Have a Y shape around your ears.

5.if its loose you can tighten it with the dial on the back of the helmet or if its too tight you can loosen it. 

6. Check with you teacher to see if it's good to go.

My awesome holiday

Hello amazing people! this week room 15 had wrote n about there 2 week holidays. So im going to share my holiday story with you guys hope you enjoy  

What I did during the holidays.

In the beginning of my holidays I went up north with my mum. I was really excited to see my grandparents and my brothers, I think the thought of my hair blowing with fresh air at the beach and feeling the nice cold water on my feet made me excited but most of all my nanna's big hug.

Once we got up there I knew this is where my holiday begins. Two days after we got up there my mum went back to Auckland and I stayed up there with my grandparents.

On a Thursday in the first week me and my little cousin Cj went out with my sister-in law to her batch at the beach. We went out to Ohrere beach and played in the soft dry sand and nice ice feeling water that had a little bit of a current.

One thing that bothered me as much as missing out on ice cream was babysitting my cousin. At the end of it i had so much fun especially catching up on my cousins. I cant wait for my next holidays. By Jayda

For art this week we drew the 9 stars and i drew Pohutukawa. We drew what ever star we wanted before we painted it or colored it in. We mixed some of the colors to make a light or dark brown for the skin colour then used diffrent shades of blue for the border and we also drew little dimonds,stars. The colours I

used to make brown were red,orange,yellow,blue, and white but if you want it darker use blue or black and to make it lighter i used white. I really enjoyed drawing and painting and it was interesting makeing the brown. 

My interesting Nunukus law

Hi viewers my names Jayda and im gonna share my Nunukus law that i learnt this week. I think the book was pretty interesting and fun to learn about and the part were the marae was shaped as an albatross. On the island named Rekohu there were Moriori people who were killed by other people that went to there island but the Moriori people didn't fight back but they shared there island. They didn't fight back because the law was to be in peace. But king gorge went to the moriori island and claimed that it was his island.  But i really enjoyed learning about it and once you get to read the book it gets interested.
